Four festive routes to experience the magic of the holidays
Christmas at the Cattolica Aquarium for a unique experience combining wonder, discovery and Christmas atmosphere in one place. During the festive period, the Aquarium is transformed into an enchanted world, thanks to light scenographies, themed decorations and special initiatives designed for adults and children alike. With a single ticket, visitors can explore four indoor routes, each dedicated to a different natural universe, populated by thousands of animals from all over the world.

The magic of Christmas in the Blue Trail
The heart of the Christmas experience is the Blue Trail, where the Humboldt family of penguins welcomes visitors in an atmospheric setting reminiscent of winter landscapes. Here you can admire thousands of marine species and experience an exciting close encounter with Italy's largest bull sharks - an unforgettable moment for the whole family.

Christmas in the nature of the Yellow Trail
The Yellow Trail offers a fascinating journey among freshwater animals, such as Asian otters and caimans, immersed in settings enriched with Christmas details. A perfect opportunity to discover the curiosities and behaviour of little-known species, guided by the magic of the festive season.

The Green Trail: reptiles and insects in their Christmas version
On the Green Trail, you will encounter fascinating creatures such as pythons, boas, chameleons and other reptiles, alongside a variety of insects from every continent. The visit takes on a unique touch thanks to special illuminations and settings dedicated to Christmas, which make the route even more enthralling.

Giant insects and fairytale atmosphere in the Purple Trail
The Purple Trail hosts the exhibition 'Giant Insects XXL Edition', where reproductions enlarged by up to 20 times allow visitors to discover amazing details of the insect world. Here, too, the Christmas setting accompanies visitors on a surprising journey, ideal for lovers of science and nature.

Special activities: food, talks and sustainability
Throughout the Christmas period, the Cattolica Aquarium offers animal feedings, meetings with experts, and workshops dedicated to sustainability. In the Plastifiniamola area, children and adults are made aware of the issue of plastic waste and encouraged to become true 'environmental vigilantes', protagonists in the protection of the planet.

The Aquarium is open in December on 6, 7, 8, 14, 21 and then from 26 December to 6 January, from 10:00 to 18:30.
